Kick Fever Fitness – Be a Yoganista

Yoga is one of the oldest fitness systems in the world (more than 4,000 years old) – and it offers numerous health and fitness benefits. It can reduce stress, create stronger, leaner and lengthened muscles and improve your sense of well-being.

Here’s a simple yoga move called warrior pose to strengthen your core and abdominals. I perform this move in the morning as soon as I roll out of bed. In fact, studies have shown you’re more likely to exercise if you schedule it for the a.m. Plus, it’ll give your metabolism a jumpstart, enabling your body to burn more calories throughout the day.

Simply hold the pose for 30 seconds, rest for 30-45 seconds, then get into position for another 30 seconds. Try to maintain slow and steady breathing throughout the exercise.
